This paper is an admirable addition to the literature surrounding penile prosthesis surgery and patient satisfaction. The authors, who have extensive experience with this subject, have carefully studied the impact of knowledge of preoperative penile length on postoperative patient satisfaction [1, 2]. They report a negative result, showing that this knowledge does not seem to change patient satisfaction following implant surgery. The authors also note high postoperative satisfaction among these patients, indicating high-quality surgical intervention in their practice. They also emphasize the importance of proper preoperative patient counseling in setting appropriate expectations. The authors should be commended for the solid work that went into this paper.
